sour flowers

A piece I've come back to a few times now, I think it deserves a bit of feedback!

Firstly, I love the focus on the wings, even though it does detract a little from focus that could have been on the head and antennae. This might lend a whimsical touch to their curls, but you could always experiment with different focuses to see which is best for each situation.

I also like the way that the light source is coming from underneath for a change! It's certainly not often you see that in any artworks, and it creates a very nice effect here (lighting up those pink flowers). There's a nice contrast in the dark of the pattern on the wings with the otherwise light atmosphere and the pinks contrast nicely with the green and orange.

Very nice piece, it's no wonder I keep coming back to it!
