Nope, at all !! As Muneeb said; it presents the local as bad people. We don't need more bad recognition -.-" ! مبْ نآقصينَ ؛ I didn't watch the full movie because if I did I would hate many people !!! & yeah; there are a lot of local movies that are great ! But the directors didn't have the support to present their movie " internationally " !
The part that I saw, the director did focus in a the bad side of Dubai ! You know what I mean !!! & the story is the same, drugs, crimes, cars accidents & dunno what . . . I don't say that we don't have these things. But there are many other subjects to talk about ! Don't wanna talk more ! Sorry for this ! & it's my opinion ! ,
I'm not trying to make a fuss/scene or so, but the positive sides in Dubai are known, why present them? Ali Mustafa, the director, had a target; to enlighten the Emiraties of what we'r going through that the media barely show. Presenting the good side of Dubai won't make anything better, presenting it's bad side makes us aware of what's actually happening that we don't know. Also, they commented on the local people acting and said they were bad, c'mon, it's their first time in acting, yes they could do better, but give them the chance to improve for it's THE first international Emirati movie. Despite of all that, I haven't watched the movie yet. :]
LOL the movie was just screened in the cinema before a couple of days! What do you expect? An instant reply?? That's NOWAY sis, it cant happen, kbar dbai lazim yshofoon el5alal wain and they'll have their own way in sloving it. Also, I said that these stuff that you saw, Dubai's media barely display it! So you wont know if anything changed or not 'cause the media doesn't show it to Dubai's civilians! Bottom line, you wont know if anything changed or not (;
i chose yep cuz i watched the trailer and i wnna watch it cuz i think its AWESOME!! but i dnt think they'll put it in the cinema's cuz they said that it will send a bad reputation about The U.A.E..
